Is there really a free plan?
Yes. The Free plan lets you watch and listen over your home Wi-Fi for as long as you like, with no card required. Pro adds remote viewing and multiple caregivers, and starts with a free trial.
Can I switch between Free and Pro later?
Absolutely. Upgrade to Pro the moment you need to check in from outside the house, and downgrade back to Free anytime — your home monitoring keeps working either way.
How private is the video?
Every stream is end-to-end encrypted. At home, your devices connect directly peer-to-peer (P2P WebRTC). When you watch remotely with Pro, the stream is relayed through our server (relay + TURN) but stays encrypted the whole way — we can't see your baby.
Will I get woken up by false alarms?
We work hard to avoid that. Cry and motion alarms use sustained-duration gating, so a brief noise or a passing shadow won't set them off — you're only alerted when it really matters.
Can both parents and a sitter watch at once?
On Pro, yes. You can invite multiple caregivers — both parents, grandparents, and a trusted sitter — and everyone gets alerts on their own phone. Free includes one caregiver device.
What payment methods will you accept?
For Pro, we plan to accept major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex) and PayPal, processed securely through Stripe. Final Pro pricing is still being decided.
Does it work without internet?
Yes. As long as your phone and the baby unit are on the same Wi-Fi, monitoring works fully offline on your local network. Remote viewing from elsewhere needs an internet connection and a Pro plan.
